Zenari’s is a legendary downtown eatery that wanted to relocate to the much trendier Rice Howard Way. Designer, Chris Smith brought us on board to help him develop his idea of a modern Italian bistro while retaining the original character of the their first space.

Incorporating some beautiful new ideas for seating.
Making both functional and decorative use of an extra high ceiling.
Retrofit’s Role
One of the reasons that the client and Chris brought us in to the project was our team’s vast experience and expertise with restaurant builds, especially in many historical buildings around Edmonton. We were tasked with planning the exhaust and air cleaning system into a high rise space while keeping the integrity of the historical Kelly Ramsey re-build.
