So when “little” Pip became “BIG” Pip, there was a question about what to do with the vacant space. Our clients wanted a complete opposite look for their new taco restaurant that is a total re-fresh meant to re-inspire both their staff and customer experience.

Project Goals

With a sandy Southern California vibe in mind, we needed to lighten & brighten up the space from it’s previous, more moody look (see PIP in our other projects) to create this easy and earthy feel.

Retrofit’s Role

Our team needed to paint from top to bottom and bring in new tiles, lots of tiles, to help lighten the mood. Working in such a small space always presents a challenge, especially in the kitchen… we managed to fit a tortilla machine in the world’s smallest commercial kitchen!

Project Highlights

We love working so closely with these clients, who have such innovative ideas with both their design and menu choices. It’s all in the details!
